Short description

You Can't Take Them With You is a laugh-out-loud memoir by Megan Bannon about being diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer at 38, her double mastectomy, and finding the comedy in all of it.

Long description

There's nothing funny about cancer, or can there be? Find yourself laughing and crying at the same time as Megan Bannon retells her cancer journey through humorous excerpts. Like the time her 10-year-old asked if she would be composting her breasts in the backyard after her double mastectomy.

When faced with triple-negative breast cancer at 38, she turned her diagnosis into a funny, honest and relatable story about finding joy during life's toughest challenges. Between awkward doctor visits, bizarre medical procedures, and well-meaning but misguided advice, she discovers that laughter really can be the best medicine.

Do you like to laugh? Have you ever had cancer, or do you know someone who has? Then this book is for you.
